Sometimes you want something sweet and lush, but really don’t want to go to the bother of putting the oven on and baking. That’s where these easy no-bake chocolate recipes come in. Call them tiffin, fridge cake, rocky road, biscuit cake or something else entirely, you’re bound to find something here you can’t wait to make.
Biscuit cake is probably my favourite chocolate treat ever. Well apart from a really good bar of chocolate, but that goes without saying.
So here we go:
Easy No-Bake Chocolate Recipes
Easy no-bake chocolate bars, are pretty much what the name implies. They are not bars of chocolate, but chocolate is a key component. Basically, you melt chocolate and add a number of other ingredients to give different flavours and textures. Nuts, dried fruit and biscuits are firm favourites, but cereal, popcorn and sweets are often added instead, or even as well as.
Chocolate Tiffin
One of my favourite things ever is tiffin, so I was delighted by this chocolate tiffin from Farmersgirl Cook. Janice has used lots of dark chocolate in this sumptuous no-bake and I really want a piece now.
Dark Chocolate, Stem Ginger And Peanut Butter Tiffin
Another tiffin, my day has got even better. Dark chocolate, stem ginger and peanut butter tiffin from De Tout Coeur Limousin
Chocolate Peanut Butter Crispy Bars
These simple no-bake chocolate peanut butter crispy bars are given additional bursts of flavour by adding peanut butter and a little honey. Such salty and sweet crunchy bites of delight.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cornflake Slice
Lucy’s chocolate peanut butter cornflake slice over at Baking Queen is the sort of thing I would demolish immediately given half a chance. This no-bake recipe is ideal for a hot lazy August.
M&M Rocky Road
Rocky road will always get my vote, so I was delighted to see this M&M rocky road from Baking Queen 74. Lucy made this for a school bake sale, so although I’ve been casting envious eyes at it, it’s probably just as well it wasn’t destined for me.
Easiest Rocky Road
If there’s one thing I can’t resist, it’s chocolate tiffin and the like. Baking Queen74 has stolen my heart with what she says is the easiest rocky road.
Sour Cherry & Almond Tiffin
This sour cherry and almond chocolate tiffin is not just for Easter. My contribution to this month’s chocolate Easter recipes is a true force to be reckoned with and makes the perfect easy no-bake for any celebratory occasion.
Malteser Shortbread Slice
no-bake Malteser shortbread slice from Baking Queen 74
Ginger Tiffin Loaf
Suelle over at Mainly Baking never lets me down. Her bakes are always worth a gander. Strangely she was not as enamoured of her Ginger Tiffin Loaf as I would have been. Ginger, chocolate, coconut and unusually, condensed milk makes this a must try for me.
Pecan Maple Ginger Tiffin
And here I give you one of my favourite tiffins. It’s a recipe for super easy no-bake chocolate bars: pecan and maple ginger tiffin.
No Bake Chocolate Orange Traybake
As many of you will know, I have a thing for chocolate tiffin. Apart from anything else, it’s a good one for summer as it’s no-bake and can be kept in the fridge. This no bake chocolate orange traybake comes from Something Sweet Something Savoury and it looks delicious.
Chocolate Biscuit Cake
Perfect for coconut loving family or friends, this chocolate biscuit cake doubles as a popular birthday tiffin. From me at Tin and Thyme.
Tunnock’s Teacake Rocky Road
They may be made in Scotland, but Tunnock’s Teacakes are loved everywhere. What’s not to love about Claire’s Tunnock’s Teacake rocky road over at Foodie Quine?
Mint Chocolate Fridge Cake
I find mint chocolate pretty much irresistible. I was reminded of a childhood mint chocolate bar just the other day called ice breaker. It was my absolute favourite and I was devastated when Cadburys stopped making it. Another firm favourite is tiffin, so this mint Aero chocolate fridge cake from Baking Queen 74 seems like a very fitting treat to end our #WeShouldCocoa 11 luscious chocolate recipes.
Ministers Slices
Foodie Quine has made her grandmother’s Ministers Slices. Anyone know why they might be called that? Whatever they’re called, I’d be happy to tuck into a piece or two of this no-bake slice made from dates, nuts, coconut and crisped rice.
NB 2 May 2018 I couldn’t resist trying Claire’s Minister Slices today. They are fantabulous. I tweaked the recipe and quantities a little and used salted butter, a bit less sugar and a mix of mostly orange flavoured dark chocolate with a little milk thrown in for good measure. Anyone figured out where the name comes from yet?
Chocolate & Salted Caramel Popcorn Chunks
And here’s another no-bake recipe of chocolate deliciousness. Perfect for a sweet treat in summer when, quite frankly, it’s sometimes just too hot to bake. Chocolate and salted caramel popcorn chunks from Recipes Made Easy.
Chocolate Crips Discs
Fancy a little sweet and savoury? These chocolate crisp discs from Sherrys Pickings combines chocolate with salt and vinegar crisps. Crazy right? But apparently delicious.
Baileys Rice Crispie Squares
Chocolate crispies are a favourite with everyone and especially me. Dom over at Belleau Kitchen has added a luxurious twist to his with a glug or two of Bailey’s Luxe – Baileys Chocolate Luxe rice crispie squares. Oh how very tempting.
Oaty No Bake Bars
Granola bars are all the rage, but I hadn’t come across a no-bake version until I saw Lucy’s oaty no-bake bars over at Baking Queen 74. What a revelation and a reminder why I love bloggers and We Should Cocoa so much.
Chocolate Muesli Slice
If you have some delicious homemade muesli in your cupboard, which for some unfathomable reason has been there for longer than it should, then take a leaf out of Johanna’s book and make this chocolate muesli slice with quandong and strawberries. It sounds heavenly.
Raw Chocolate Truffles
I was so pleased with these raw chocolate truffles that I shall be making them again and again. The main constituents are Medjool dates, cashew nuts and cocoa, but these have a few other ingredients thrown in to make them additionally nutritious.
Peanut Butter Coconut Energy Balls
For a healthy treat that doesn’t leave you feeling short changed, I find bliss balls hit the spot nicely. I’m now dying to try these peanut butter & coconut energy balls from Jess Eats and Travels.
Chocolate Agave Energy Balls
With a baby who’s just learnt to walk and two young boys, food for energy is just what is needed in the CityHippyFarmGirl household. Luckily these chocolate agave energy balls pack a punch and sound quite delicious. These are sweetened with agave and honey, although Brydie states agave can be substituted for the honey.

Lovely round up of no bake chocolate treats. The Easter Egg chicks are really cute and the peaches are a brilliant idea! Off to see what Karen has chosen for May.

Your no bakes were amazing Dom – I think we will all be pouring liberal amounts of Baileys into any future confections.

Easter was in early January this year? No wonder it feels so long ago 😉 Great round up – although I’m not absolutely starving.
Choclette says
Oops, thanks for pointing my Easter blip out Craig – Christmas followed immedialty by Easter really would be too much.
Johanna @ Green Gourmet Giraffe says
Love a no bake treat – lots of cute easter stuff here – and those peaches look so delicious – while you were surprised not to have more biscuit cake, I was surprised there wasn’t more condensed milk treats.
And if you would like another host for WSC I would be happy to help out (sent an email a while back and never heard back so I guess it fell through the net)
The Kitchenmaid says
There are some neat things there – I love those passionfruit Easter eggs but the tiffin and no-bake oaty number are probably more at my skill level! Really nice to get back in the swing of things with WSC, look forward to next month with Karen. And if you ever need another guest host…
