Triple Chocolate Buns for National Chocolate Week

Triple Chocolate Buns

Small Cakes, We Should Cocoa | 16th October 2016 | By

Way back in 2011, I made these double chocolate buns and they proved to be quite popular amongst my readers. I’ve been promising myself to make them again ever since and I’ve finally got around to it. This time around, however, I upped the ante and turned them into triple chocolate buns. It seems only fitting as it’s the last day of National Chocolate Week.

Strawberry Cream Cakes make for the most blissful picnic treats

Strawberry Cream Cakes

June is full-on strawberries and cream season. As you may have noticed from my previous posts, it’s also the prime time for roses. Rhubarb Friands with White Chocolate – We Should Cocoa #68

Rhubarb friands

Back along, nearly three years ago to be exact, I hosted a six course chocolate themed dinner party for friends. Recently he sent me a recipe for his favourite chocolate nut muffins. They have undergone many iterations, I should add and more will follow as just like me, Henk is an inveterate ‘tinkerer’ of recipes.

Honey Apple Cakes

5 Star, Small Cakes | 8th September 2015 | By

Some say Autumn starts here in the Northern Hemisphere on 1 September, some say the 22nd. The first few apples have been gathered from my mother’s garden and honey apple cardamom mini bundt cakes were calling.
